My interest in photography began at a young age and eventually led me away from the ‘real jobs’ others expected.  In 1997, I became a full-time, professional equine photographer.

In 2007 portrait and fine art photography became my focus.  I love working with people of all ages to capture their spirit and personality.  One of my joys is photographing children.  I love interacting with them, capturing their innocence and nature.

Fine art photography is my true passion.  Sometimes the moment presents itself and I grab my camera knowing it will vanish as quickly as it appeared.  Sometimes it requires hours, even days, waiting for the perfect lighting and moment.  I hope my images move you to reflect on the beauty of rural landscapes, barns, flowers, and interesting landmarks.
